Apr 2, 2009 — Oakland, CA — Zhone Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZHNE), a global leader in multi-service access solutions, today announced preliminary estimates for the first quarter of 2009. Based on preliminary information, revenue for the first quarter 2009 is expected to be approximately $24 million, more than the slight decline anticipated from fourth quarter 2008 revenue of $31 million.
