We also recently announced SkyZhone, the industry's first telco-grade metro Wi-Fi system. SkyZhone's DSL backhaul, an all-MIMO antenna architecture, combined with line powering have created a new performance standard for metro Wi-Fi. We showcased SkyZhone at NXTcomm where it received a nod from the NXTcomm awards committee for tech innovation. Zhone Welcomes Bruce Roe as SVP of Engineering
Bruce comes to us from Wave 7 Optics, a company he joined when it was still an early stage startup. Prior to Wave 7, he worked his way up the Nortel ranks to become VP of engineering and VP of Nortel's Open IP portfolio. Bruce came on board in June and we're happy to welcome him to the team.
