Overview
The MALC is a full-featured Broadband Loop Carrier (BLC) optimized for delivering voice, data, and video services over a pure packet access network. MALC gives carriers the flexibility to cost-effectively deliver Analog and Packet Voice services over existing facilities.
The MTAC/Ring cards provide metallic test access for external test systems to verify the local loop conditions, such as whether the loop will allow a particular service such as POTS or DSL to operate.
The MALC-MTAC/RING-ENH supports the following integrated test capability when the Integrated Software Test Feature is enabled.
