Overview
The MALC is a full-featured Broadband Loop Carrier (BLC) optimized for delivering voice, data, and video services over a pure packet access network. MALC gives carriers the flexibility to cost-effectively deliver triple play services over existing facilities. The SHDSL line card for the MALC is a high density module that provides symmetrical bandwidth for the MALC 319 and MALC 719/723 Chassis.
SHDSL is a robust symmetrical technology that provides 2.3Mbps to the end-customer. It's ability to provide the maximum bandwidth to most customers served make it an excellent technology especially for the deployment of business services. The MALC's SHDSL line card also provides the ability to support circuit emulation enabling T1/E1 replacement services making it an extremely flexible solution for service providers.
The MALC is one of the most flexible Broadband Loop Carrier's on the market with it's ability to provide Triple-play services along side business class services it is the perfect platform to support all of the service providers needs.
