OPX4300 Cabinet

Overview

Zhone innovates yet again to ensure that providers can bring service to their entire subscriber base. Zhone's OPX4300 Outside Plant Exchange is a unique and low cost product that enables service to 100% of the subscriber base by bringing the access closer to the subscriber.

The OPX4300 provides up to 288 ports of DSL and POTS. The OPX4300 can be mounted on a wall, or a pole next to existing cabinets. Each OPX4300 cabinet is shipped pre-wired with 50-pair protection panels and utilizes the RAPTOR100 DSLAMs and MALC100 and MALC319 BLCs. Additional DSLAMs and BLCs can be added in the field with the help of an OPX4300 upgrade kit. This lets the service provider utilize a single product whether deploying from the central office, existing remote cabinets, or extremely remote locations, making the operational and management of the network that much easier.

The OPX4300 provides several powering options (DC, AC or LP) to allow for easy installation in all locations. The powering options along with the ADSL2+, POTS, ReachDSL, and SHDSL access options ensure the availability of triple play services to any customer.
