Overview
Zhone's family of EFM Based Network Extenders provide an extremely cost-effective, flexible and easy to use solution for providing Ethernet based services to subscribers throughout the service providers network. The SNE2000 can be used in a point to point configuration with other SHDSL Network Extenders as well as with EtherXtend Ethernet in the First Mile (EFM) CPE, or it can be used to terminate SHDSL lines from both Zhone's MALC Multiservice Access Loop Carrier or the IPD12000 Ethernet DSLAM.
The SNE2000 is designed for ease-of-use; configuration requirements are removed completely, allowing this device to be installed into the customer premise quickly and cost-effectively. The SNE2000 is based on Ethernet transport technology over standard SHDSL lines, providing a 100% Ethernet-based access technology for optimum usability, throughput and reliability.
