Overview
Zhone's Multi-dwelling unit (MDU) GPON ONT is a standards based CPE designed for advanced triple-play deployments. The zNID ONT is only one component in the PON network. Zhone provides the entire FTTx solution to our customers including the OLT, splitters, cabinets, and the ONT.
8324 MDU ONT is designed for high performance applications. It features 24 10/100Mbps Ethernet Ports and 24 POTS ports in a 1U high form factor. 8324 may be rack mounted and is powered via a 3-pin AC cord.
8324 ONT is ideal for triple-play service deployments in Fiber-to-the-Building application. Each Ethernet port can connect to a Residential Gateway in each residence. Prioritization of packets is maintained through the ONT guaranteeing a high Quality of Experience.
Compliant with standard OMCI definition, 8324 is manageable at remote side and supports the full range FCAPS functions including supervision, monitoring and maintenance.
