With the introduction of Zhone FiberHome™, an extension of Zhone’s market-leading FTTx solutions, Zhone is now enabling high-speed broadband connectivity in places where broadband was not being extended. High-speed broadband connectivity is the basis for today’s information age and many governments mandate that it should be as available and omni-present as other basic necessities.

As part of the Zhone FiberHome portfolio, Zhone is providing new Fiber-to-the-Nodel (FTTN), Fiber-to-the-Curb (FTTC), Fiber-to-the-Building (FTTB) and Fiber-to-the-Premise (FTTP) solutions to extend operators’ last-mile reach with high-speed Copper to the Premise (CTTP) and wire-speed Ethernet to the Premise (ETTP) connectivity to enable advanced broadband and multi-play services.

The solutions delivered in the Zhone FiberHome rollout provide VDSL2 and Active Ethernet connectivity in the last mile in a 1U form factor to extend network reach and deliver cost-efficiency benefits that exceed those of competitive solutions. In addition, Zhone also delivers multi-service capability including integrated VoIP functionality. Zhone’s high-speed CTTP solution is based on VDSL2 30a and enables up to 100Mbps symmetrical connectivity in areas where fiber is cost prohibitive. In these cases, as an end-to-end solution, Zhone offers VDSL2 CPE and Central Office (CO) products to provide high-speed, long reach and low cost solutions for multi-dwelling units (MDUs), remote terminals and CO deployments. In the cases where fiber can be extended cost-effectively, Zhone FiberHome provides Active Ethernet connectivity to enable wire-speed ETTP connectivity.
