Zhone Technologies has acquired Paradyne, and together the two companies have combined to deliver the new generation of broadband services.

The transaction simultaneously expands both companies' product portfolios as well as their substantial carrier customer bases. The acquisition of Paradyne by Zhone is expected to have the following results:
