Service Providers continue to have strong business demand for Hi-Cap services for their Internet /WAN and voice communications. Hi-Cap services are highly profitable services for carriers. T1/E1 Hi-Cap and PRI is the most popular form of business service and used for PBX connectivity or HSIA and WAN data services. Growing numbers of business are turning to SHDSL as a replacement for T1/E1 due to the economics. As more businesses migrate to VoIP, IAD’s are used with T1/E1’s. • SHDSL Card options: G.991.2 SHDSL with the ability to support circuit emulation for T1/E1 replacement, used for 2 or 4 wire applications.
