New Features and Enhancements

Bug Fix from 7.00.13 to 7.00.15:

Management:
Users can now successfully manage the device using SNMP via G.SHDSL and Ethernet ports on both the Provider and Subscriber units.

Known Restrictions and Limitations

The IP Address (optional) needs to be put into the SNE2040 using a small Windows command-line based utility that can be found at
http://www.zhone.com/support/downloads/tools/

Versions of firmware prior to 7.00.08 cannot be upgraded without changing the prom first.

MIBs version 1.01.01 or greater is required to manage the SNE2040 units.

Compatibility Issues

Running the SNE2040 Windows Utility requires the use of Windows 2000 or Windows XP. Win98 and earlier operating systems are not supported.

It is recommended that all programs including firewalls are turned off when using the SNE2040 utilities on your PC.

SNE2040G-S and SNE2040G-P Hardware Revision greater than or equal to 2, must have firmware 7.00.01 or greater. Please contact Zhone support to find out the Hardware Revision. Have the serial number of the unit available.
