Known Restrictions and Limitations
The mumCfgInbandMGMTVlanID OID only supports values 1-255, contrary to what the MIB description indicates.
The IP Address (optional) needs to be put into the SNE2040 using a small Windows command-line based utility that can be found at http://www.paradyne.com/tech_support/tools.html.
Older versions of firmware cannot be upgraded without changing the prom first. Procedures to do this are located at http://www.paradyne.com/technical_manuals/SNE2-A2-GK40-00.pdf.
Paradyne MIBs version 1.01.01 is needed in order to manage the SNE2040 units. The MIBs can be found at http://www.paradyne.com/tech_support/mibs.html.
Compatibility Issues
Running the SNE2040 Windows Utility requires the use of Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Win98 and earlier operating systems are not supported.
It is recommended that all programs including firewalls are turned off when using the SNE2040 utility on your PC.
