Software Increment Release Notes ================================ Increment ID: ACN10N16 Date created: Nov 18, 1999 CSR number: XT93539 Title: ANX - No Calling Party Present When Answering Incoming Call To Hunt Group Detailed Description of Increment: ---------------------------------- Intermittently, customers that are members of a Hunt Group on the AccessNode Express attempt to answer an incoming call and do not hear the calling party. The end user's equipment is connected to an ExpressLine line card (NTN502) in the AccessNode Express. The Hunt Group member will hear talk battery only. The calling party will continue to hear ring-back going on-hook. Subsequent calls are not affected and the condition is cleared when both parties go back on-hook. The condition may be described by the end user as 1-way transmission ,"Ring-No Answer", or No-Way Transmission. This increment corrects a message loss condition that is the root cause of these call failures. This condition occurs about 1 out of 25 call terminations.
