Title:

This increment adds updates for DDS circuits and
STS-1 audits.

Effect on Traffic / Warnings:

This increment has no effect on traffic.


Detailed Description of Increment:  
----------------------------------
1. This increment maintains DDS cross connects after a
processor activity switch by properly identifying the
service type associated with those cross connects.

2. The STS-1 ping audit has been made more robust. STS-1
failures have been caused by pipe interrupts being
permanently disabled. The audit has been improved to
enable all STS-1 pipe interrupts when the system does
not receive a response from a ping.

System Configuration / Shelf Type Requirements:

This increment must be applied to all AN17.30 AccessNode configurations
and shelf types.  This increment affects the APU.

Increments I01A1730 - I24A1730 must be successfully applied prior to 
application of this increment.

Test Instructions:
------------------
- Ensure properly provisioned and working DDS circuits survive a
  processor activity switch; the DDS circuits should not drop.
  Any switch of activity should be performed in the maintenance
  window.

- There is no test procedure for the STS-1 ping audit robustness.
