502 Line Card Weight Noise Test Enhancement


Effect on Traffic / Warnings:

Standing calls will not be dropped.  Calls can not be originated or
terminated for 30 seconds.
  

Detailed Description of Increment:  
----------------------------------
This increment addresses the issue of the 502 Line Cards failing to 
pass the weight noise test from the switch.  The increment will turn 
on current regulations on a TR short and prevent the transformer 
from saturating and inducing noise in the circuit.

 
System Configuration / Shelf Type Requirements:
-----------------------------------------------
This increment must be applied to all AN1800 AccessNode configurations 
and shelf types.  This increment is for the Accessnode Express Shelf 
Processor.


Prerequisite Increments Required:
---------------------------------
Increments I01A1800 throught I23A1800 must be successfully applied prior to 
application of this increment.


Loads Affected:

After successful application of this patch, 
the SP load will be: ANXSPL18AH
the LAIC Boot load will be: LAICBL18AH
the LAIC application load will be: LAICL18AH

Test Instructions:
------------------
* Please be aware that running diagnostics on a line will affect traffic.

1. Post a line on the switch that previously failed the weight noise test:
	a) mapci;mtc;lns;ltp
	b) post l ne# len#
	c) 7  (diagnostic command)

The results of the Diag command should show that diagnostics passed.
