Upgrades from AN19.05 to AN19.60 using disk ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 1. Connection and Provisioning Managers not opening * Description: Connection Manager and Provisioning Managers may fail to open due to the unavailability of critical resources. This results in the inability to use those tools. Contact GSS for finetuning of these changes if problems are still encountered after applying this increment. * Pre-Increment Impact and work-around: Direct TL1 commands can be used to provision facilities, DS0 services and manage cross-connects in AN1905. Refer to document 323-3001-190 for the TL1 users guide. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- 2. Upgrades from AN19.05 to AN19.60 using disk * Description: When using Preside to deliver the new loads for upgrades from AN19.05 to AN19.60, the upgrade would fail to extract the files from the OPC disk. This results in a Critical upgrade failure requiring NUM to be closed. * Pre-Increment Impact and work-around: The upgrade would fail to execute from disk. Without this increment, the AN19.05 to AN19.60 upgrade will need to be performed using a DAT tape locally at the OPC. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Increments Needed: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Increments I01A1905 through I10A1905 need to be successfully applied prior to application of this increment.
