To place the load on the OPC:

1. Download NT4k79AB.tar file



Placing the load on the OPC
---------------------------

    1. Login to OPC as a root user.

    2. Change to the following directory depending on AN release        
       /iws/lom/loads/lc (AN15)
       /users/VFS/users/anonymous/lc (AN16 and above)

    3. ftp into the server containing the private load
       ftp<server_containing_private_load_executables>

       ftp> bin
       ftp> prompt
       ftp> cd <directory_containing_private_loads>
       ftp> ls NT4K79AB.tar
       ftp> mget NT4K79AB.tar (you may need to respond with "y" for yes)
       ftp> quit 

     4. Untar the files
        opc> tar -xvf NT4K79AB.tar

     5. Enable read/write on the loads
        opc> chmod 777 *.ZZ

     Now do the following for each NE within this OPC's span of  control.  Note that 
     some commands will ask for confirmation.  Respond with "y".  

       
     6. Log into the NE as admin 

     7. At the HMI type the following: 
        >lcloadci 

     8. Set the default service load to the new private load context for the linecards: 
        >setdftid diag NT4K79AB <lc_rel> ZZ
        (Where lc_rel is the linecard release. This needs to be done for all 
         lc_releases 20 and higher)

     9. Reload Omega linecards to the new default loads: 
        >reloadlc  cds/anx <shelf OR all>  <uvg_service>  NT4K79AB  <lc_rel> 
        e.g  reloadlc CDS all MVIUVG NT4K79AB all
        (swap the "cds/anx" and "shelf OR all" for AN16 and above)

     Repeat 1-5 for each OPC you wish to affect, and 6-9 for each NE within that OPC's
     control.
