This code provides the 6211-A2-XXX with the equivalent functionality as the 6211-A3-XXX

4. Notes***
When upgrading the 6211-A2 to the 2.01.08 ADSL 2+ firmware
a. First load 6211_R2.1.08_kernel.upgrade.bin . ( Do not reset after completion)
b. Second load the 6211_R2.1.08_fs_upgrade.img ( wait for 6211 to reset on it’s own )
c. After step b completes if modem has not reset after 5 minutes, power modem off for 15 seconds then power back on.

How to tell the difference between Adam2 and PSP Boot loader

Once you are logged into the modem Click on Status at the top.

Then click on Product information, you will need to look at the Boot Loader information.

In the boot loader version 0.22.02+_06.5 (the first digit is zero) indicates that this is ADAM2 code.

If the boot loader version was 1.22.02+_06.5 (the first digit is one), this indicates that this is PSP code.
