5. Download procedure

Refer to the 8355 user's guide and the 42xx manual to create the end point management cross connects.

1. Create a management cross connect to the end point.
2. Unzip the self-extacting file: 6390_010015.exe
3. From a DOS prompt, change directory to where the unzipped files are located.
4. Ping the 6390 end point and make sure there response (IP address: 135.26.95.1).
5. From the DOS prompt, type 6390EPDL.bat*
6. Wait for the 6390 to Reset (Approx. 45 seconds)

*NOTE: It is very important that the 6390 is not powered down during this process.  This may corrupt the
memory, and the end point would have to be sent back for repair.
