D. FEATURES:

1.    ATE Code:  Increased the number of samples for loop back captures from 128 to 1024 for additional smoothing.  Added 1ms settling time delay before loop back capture.

E. FIXES:

1.    HDLC now correctly handles poll type of “3”. Even though this is an invalid poll type, the modem would get a hung state due to the incorrect processing of the poll type when received.  Why the CO modem is transmitting an invalid poll type is still under investigation.

2.    CW Training:  Number of samples used to calculate clipping (capture size) is limited to 4K only if expected capture length is > 4K.  We were incorrectly setting the samples to 4K regardless.  This could lead to false clip counts.

F. Recommended Verification

1.    Training and throughput at representative loop lengths.

2.    ATE functional test.

G. KNOWN DEFICIENCIES

      None.

H. ASSOCIATED FILES

xx_xx_xx_sp600.s19 - Programmable application and boot image for StormPort client or server.  Use this file when programming the flash via the BDM port.

xx_xx_xx_sp600.sum – Text file with the checksum for the StormPort application and boot s19 image. Note:  Since the application is now only 1MB, this is the checksum for the first 1MB of flash memory.  When doing a checksum verification, only perform the checksum on the number of sectors that comprise the first 1MB.

xx_xx_xx_sp600_boot.s19 -  Programmable boot-only image for StormPort client or server. Use this file when programming the flash boot sector only via the BDM port.

03_02_05_sp600_dlapp.bin – Server downloadable application image for StormPort client or server.  Use this file when programming the flash application sectors via the YesWare server.

03_02_05_sp600_dlboot.bin – Downloadable boot image for StormPort client or server.  Use this file when programming the flash boot sector via the YesWare server.
