The Windows 95 Paradyne Lan Adapter Configurator is distributed as 
an unsupported utility. Use at your own risk.

INSTALLATION:

 To install, do the following:

STEP 1.

   Copy the file lanacfg.exe to a temporary directory and then execute 
it. The extraction program will require a directory to extract into. 
Use the default or select another and press the "Extract" button.

Two files will be created in the selected directory:

     disk1.EXE, and
     disk2.EXE

STEP 2.

Execute disk1.EXE. It will again bring up the extraction program and 
require the selection of a directory to extract into. Select any 
desired directory, the default, or a floppy drive if floppies are 
to be used. Press "Extract". The contents of disk1 will be placed 
in the specified location.

STEP 3. 

Repeat STEP 2 for disk2.EXE. The contents may be placed in the same 
directory as were the contents of disk1.EXE. However, if floppies 
are used, a second empty floppy disk must be provided.

STEP 4.

Run the setup.exe program, extracted from disk1.EXE, to bring up 
Installshield and install the program.

PROGRAM USE

All instructions for use of the Lan Adapter Configurator program 
are included in the HELP included with the utility.

UNINSTALL:

To uninstall the program, execute the "Add/Remove Programs" 
selection from the Windows 95 control panel, and select 
"Lan Adapter Configurator". The press the Add/Remove button. 
Say "Yes" to the resulting prompt.
